Peter Ashcroft, PhD, is a modeling and simulation scientist at Novartis Biomedical Research. His expertise is the development and application of translational PK/PD and QSP models for the progression of cell therapies. Together with his Modeling & Simulation colleagues, Peter utilizes preclinical and clinical data to translate complex immuno-oncology therapeutics from experimental systems to patients, as well as between indications and across modalities.
Peter has completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at The University of Manchester, UK and received his PhD in Theoretical Physics in 2015. He continued as a postdoc at ETH Zürich, Switzerland, before joining the Modeling & Simulation group at Novartis Biomedical Research. Peter's modeling experience spans cancer evolution, hematology kinetics, antibiotic resistance emergence, infectious disease dynamics, and drug development for multiple therapeutic modalities across disease areas.
