Postdoctoral Fellow
AstraZeneca
Tyler has been a Postdoctoral Fellow in Antibody Design & Engineering at AstraZeneca since 2023. An experienced protein engineer and biophysicist, Tyler received his PhD in Chemical Biology at the University of Michigan in 2023, where he studied molecular mechanisms of signaling selectivity in G proteins. Recently, he is primarily interested in improving antibody developability and solution behavior to accelerate the generation and development of safe, stable, and convenient antibody therapeutics. His early work (presented here as Poster T1030-02-07) focused on using peptide-resolution structural biology and in silico modeling to elucidate and address causes of viscosity at high antibody concentrations.
